Turbulent Boundary Layer is the first full length release by BJ Campbell. It is heavily influenced by his time as an on-air DJ at WREK Atlanta in the latter 1990s and early 2000s, where his specialty show focus was IDM, ambient dub, acid jazz, and other emerging forms of electronic listening music.
The album is a compilation of material developed from 2014 to 2016 as he learned software and hardware synthesis, and includes samples performed live on bass, guitar, and hand built synthesizers.
released December 15, 2016
