Sharaab – Asura OUT NOW!

We’re exceedingly proud to announce the upcoming release of Sharaab’s latest disc, Asura. This disc is really special to us, as it represents new territory for Nophi. This is our first (gasp!) Dubstep release. Don’t fret though, ‘coz it’s really damn good! Each track is layered with great synth sounds, bangin’ drums, filthy bass and deliciously spicy Indian music.

We Be Droppin’ New Sh*t Like Every Single Day

Well… Not totally new, but we’ve finally found a minute to pay some attention to the reclusive sounds of our back catalog. This week we posted four estranged releases to our digital store — and in the coming weeks, we will be bringing almost our entire catalog from 1999-2009 back on-line. Of course, all of this is the precursor to the blitz of releases we are planning for 2012!

NEW TO THE DIGITAL STORE:

1.) V/A – The Tokeo Remixes

2.) V/A – Nophi Compilation Three

3.) Recompas, R_Garcia & Dry Lungs – Live at WREK

4.) Satellite Grooves – Halos and Ions

Highly Suggested Listening

Our good friends at High Grade Media have been steadily releasing solid excellent electronic music for the last few years. Under the tutelage of Nophi artist Citizen Green, HGM has slowly assembled a strong and diverse roster of artists. Their most recent release: Piedmont Remixes by Reklein is no exception. Built on the source material Reklein’s 2009 release, Piedmont, this collection of remixes draws on talent from the electronic music underground to re-envision the dream-like synths and battlefield drums of the original as 10 new compositions. The best part is: It’s FREE (Pay what you want.)
